About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join IRIS Software Group as a Product Owner for our Employee Payroll Portal. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for shaping the BAU maintenance, compliance, and development of our employee payroll portal, IRIS's My ePay Window (MEPW) software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the translation of the product vision to development deliverables to ensure our objectives and key results are fully met.
  • Work closely with technical resources to ensure the technical delivery meets business needs.
  • Update and communicate with business stakeholders to ensure the product meets their requirements.
  • Identify requirements, scope, benefits, and desired outcomes for areas of change.
  • Collaborate with different areas of the business to drive innovation and positive disruption.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager with a background in software deliverables.
  • Excellent track record of translating and delivering clear, detailed requirements and supporting backlogs.
  • Demonstrable experience of engaging with and putting the customer first.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative and flexible approach to agile software development, tools, and processes.
  • Disciplined management ability: caring about process, quality, and managing expectations.
  • Good planning and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Commercial and revenue awareness and understanding.
  • Demonstrable ability to embrace change and adapt to continuous improvement.
