We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing a small team and its resources to deliver a quality service, and creating a robust control environment that identifies and resolves issues.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the performance of our financial systems is running at its optimum level.
- Deliver efficient and accurate solutions for ledger changes, reconciliation software, and other finance system changes.
- Develop and maintain robust controls and daily feeds to our key finance systems to ensure they provide quality data and are effective and accurate.
- Support and represent the team on corporate and local initiatives to ensure all risks, controls, and accounting are catered for through design and control.
- Develop strong working relationships with areas of the business and be the key point of contact for issues, taking the lead to manage our third-party suppliers and work in partnership to deliver quality solutions.
- Experience of managing people and teams, utilizing strong relationship management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Experience of delivery and implementation of project-related work.
- Excellent bookkeeping and general ledger experience.
- Technical knowledge and development experience of automated reconciliation software, such as AutoRek.
- Experience of SQL and logic rule writing.
- A non-contributory pension between 8% and 12%.
- A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance.
- 34 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time).
