Job Details

We are currently working with a global insurance company who are looking for a Group Reporting Accountant for a short-term contract position. Based in Central London, this role will play a critical part within the company by providing support to the group's financial reporting team.

Your new role

  1. Preparing and producing quarterly and annual Solvency II submissions for the group
  2. Producing and loading required submissions onto the required software
  3. Developing and maintaining financial systems to assist with reporting, providing system process improvements along the way
  4. Responsible for quarterly statutory balance sheet, P&L and cash flow reporting, [providing commentary to the group
  5. Lead and manage financial reporting, month-end processes, ownership of balance sheet
  6. Regulatory and Statutory Reporting requirements

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified accountant with insurance sector experience
  • Strong financial reporting background
  • Experience with regulatory reporting, Solvency II, UK GAAP, statutory and group financial reporting
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Experience with Tagetik system would be ideal
