Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme, annual performance bonus, and 25 days' holiday.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Finance Data Governance and Reporting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Critical Data Elements (CDEs) for Finance Data, ensuring accuracy and data quality across Finance, and collaborating with stakeholders to integrate and adopt new Data Products and Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Define KPIs and CDEs for Finance Data, working closely with stakeholders to ensure representation as a Data Steward.
  2. Ensure accuracy and data quality across Finance, starting from our front-end Motor platform to our central Data Platform and Finance Data and Accounting systems.
  3. Collaborate with Finance Stakeholders, Business Partners, Technology, and the Central Data Team to ensure seamless data integration and adoption.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in data analysis and reporting, with a deep understanding of Data Governance and Controls.
  • Experience writing and interpreting complex SQL, as well as using data tools such as Excel, Tableau, TM1, Cognos, or Axon.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across DLG.
