About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Lead to join our team at Kerry Coleraine site. As a Quality Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our dairy consumer foods site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer standards.
  • Lead audits and investigations to identify and resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure effective implementation of quality controls and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain process quality documentation, including HACCP plans and quality procedures.
  • Provide training and support to technical teams on quality management systems and processes.
  • Monitor and analyze production stream performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate customer audits and visits to site, ensuring a positive experience for customers.
  • Manage audit corrective action responses, including preparation of formal audit responses.
Requirements
  • Degree in a food science-related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to record, interpret, and analyze key process data.
  • Experience in managing a team and influencing skills.
  • Understanding of food safety and quality management systems, including BRC Global Food Standard.
  • Ability to apply lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving tools, such as 8-Step Practical Problem Solving.
