An Exciting Opportunity

The Children's Trust School is seeking an exceptional Education Specialist to join our team. As a dedicated and observant professional, you will be responsible for safeguarding all pupils, coordinating classroom teaching, learning, and assessments, and evaluating progress. You will have Qualified Teaching Status, be exceptionally organized, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

As a non-maintained special school, we pride ourselves on delivering integrated, holistic education, health therapy, and care for our wonderful pupils. We provide high-quality personalized education to support development in communication, language, and literacy skills, cognitive development, physical skills, environmental control, and social, emotional, and personal wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard all pupils and coordinate classroom teaching, learning, and assessments
  • Evaluate progress and be accountable for the development of children with complex education, health, therapy, and care needs
  • Lead and manage a team of support assistants and a subject area with a high level of attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
