About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Platform Developer to join our team at RSSB. As a key member of our digital engineering function, you will play a critical role in leading the development of Power Platform solutions for a range of applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of Power Platform solutions for complex applications, including industry safety and sustainability platforms, and Power BI enterprise reporting.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to gain experience in other engineering disciplines, such as web and data.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of technical work items as part of wider project delivery.
  • Provide expert input to the shaping, sizing & planning of technical delivery work.
  • Provision and maintain environments, deployment processes, and testing processes to enable fast and reliable changes to enterprise Power Platform components.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and deliver new value from our digital products, by bringing an understanding of technical capabilities to business problems and coaching others.
Requirements
  • Experience developing solutions with Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Experience developing with Power Query, MDX, DAX, and Power BI security models.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, controls, and governance.
  • Experience engineering digital solutions against functional requirements.
  • Familiarity with user experience design approaches and activities.
  • Ability to make timely, informed decisions taking account of the benefits and constraints involved.
