The role of a Pediatric Therapist involves leading service delivery within a specialist area, managing a complex caseload and driving strategic improvements in therapy services.

As an experienced Occupational Therapist with at least 5 years' PQE working with children and young people with complex health needs, you will be responsible for providing clinical support and supervision to therapists and therapy assistants, planning and managing services within the designated area of work, and contributing to annual service team plans and other development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked as an Occupational Therapist, Paediatric Occupational Therapist, Occupational Health Therapist or in a similar role, with a background in a special school environment and registration with HCPC and a documented portfolio of CPD.

Key responsibilities include managing a complex caseload of children and young people with diverse disabilities, regularly reporting progress for clinical governance and audit purposes, and collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary team (MDT) colleagues to ensure continuous improvement.
