Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Support Worker to join our team at UKCIL. The successful candidate will be working with a young boy with Autism, providing support and assistance with daily activities, social interactions, and personal care needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the child with personal care needs, such as toileting, dressing, and feeding
- Assist with social interactions, including community activities and leisure pursuits
- Develop and maintain a safe and supportive environment for the child
- Work collaboratively with the child's family and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support package
Requirements
- Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with Autism and other SEN
- Ability to work flexibly and provide a high level of care and support
- Full UK driving license and own vehicle (desirable)
Working Hours
4 hours per week during term time, 8 hours per week during school holidays
Pay and Benefits
£12.40 per hour, with opportunities for training and development
