Job Title: Project Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Project Estimator to join our team at Nationwide Specialist Services. As a Project Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the development and growth of our public sector partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate and support in tender submissions, including programming methodologies and project-specific requirements.
  • Assist in the development of public sector partnerships and ensure quotations are completed within required SLAs.
  • Play an instrumental role in the Estimating of sizable projects, ensuring accurate information is collated and timely submissions are made.
  • Maintain clear and concise workings to facilitate contract management understanding of time frames, equipment involved, and material quantities.
  • Provide support to contract management teams in delivering instructed works and engage with suppliers and subcontractors to build relationships.
  • Assist the Sales function with potential tenders and quotes, undertaking site surveys when required to ensure accurate information is collated.
  • Meet and interact with clients to build reputable relationships and engage with site surveyors and engineers to ensure correct information is captured.
  • Work closely with your director to ensure continuous improvement and collaborate with other divisions to grow the customer base.
  • Analyse commercial situations and capitalise on them to benefit the business.
  • Chase down and keep dialogue open for active opportunities submitted and bring new and experienced lines of supply chain into the business.
