External Project Manager

One Big Circle Ltd is a fast-growing technology company based in Bristol that provides Intelligent Video solutions. We are looking for an experienced External Project Manager to join our project management team and support the business in growing our flagship award-winning product: AIVR.

AIVR is a state-of-the-art video technology system used by thousands of people in the rail industry and has won dozens of awards. As an External Project Manager, you will be responsible for running externally facing projects and contracts that require a blend of in-house hardware/software product capability combined with product development and bespoke engineering work.

Salary Range: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular communication with customers and employees across multiple projects
  • Monitor and govern project deliverables, deadlines, and scope
  • Identify and manage project risks and problems
  • Support the commercial team at pre-sales or bid stage
  • Assist with managing key supplier relationships
  • Interact with technical teams to troubleshoot challenges and ensure deadlines are met

Requirements:

  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated and self-organized
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office and equivalent tools (MS Project experience is desirable)
  • Rail or similar industry experience ideal
  • Pragmatic and focused on business outcomes
  • Project Management qualification to a foundation level (can be completed on the job for the right candidate)
