About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Rehability UK. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live a fulfilling life, while also providing leadership and guidance to our support workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans, working closely with families and professional agencies as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with support workers to provide support, guidance, and information.
  • Lead and guide support workers to maintain high standards of care, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support.
  • Implement staff rotas to ensure that the service is adequately staffed at all times.
  • Assist with medication and accurately record medication administration.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with our clients, helping them to develop necessary life skills and satisfy their needs.
  • Participate in an on-call rota system and provide hands-on support when required.

Requirements

  • Experience of working and leading a team in a supported living environment, with guidance and support from our experienced manager.
  • Personal care experience is required in all our locations.
  • Experience with Mental Health, excellent written and spoken English.
