Kingston upon Thames, Greater London, United Kingdom Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust Full time

We are seeking highly skilled midwives to join our dynamic maternity team at Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust.

As a midwife with us, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where we prioritize the delivery of high-quality care to women and babies. Our commitment to providing excellent patient experience is evident in our consistent ratings as one of the top-performing maternity services in London.

Our maternity service has an outstanding preceptorship program that ensures newly qualified midwives receive comprehensive support during their clinical shifts and professional development. You will have access to a dedicated practice development team who provide guidance and mentorship throughout your journey with us.

The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) culture that values continuous learning and growth. We offer regular study days and opportunities to enroll in academic modules at local higher education institutions. This enables our staff to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in midwifery practice and improve patient outcomes.

You will be expected to demonstrate a family-centered approach to care provision, recognizing the importance of coordination and liaison within the MDT. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues will be essential in delivering high-quality care.

We believe in investing in our staff's development and wellbeing. As part of our commitment, we offer resources such as an on-site staff nursery, wellbeing practitioners, regular classes, a dedicated physiotherapist, comprehensive occupational health services, and a 24/7 employee assistance program.

The salary for this position is approximately £34,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional care and wish to grow professionally, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity.
