Job Title: Family Support and Inclusion Specialist

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

About the Role

This fixed-term contract until 31 August 2025 requires you to support children and their families by removing barriers to learning. You will work with children who may be at risk of exclusion, those with irregular attendance, and those with social, emotional or behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children with worries or anxieties they may be experiencing
  • Provide confidential support for parents on issues affecting their child
  • Monitor attendance and track behaviour in consultation with the Attendance Lead and Senior Leadership Team
  • Safeguarding efforts as an alternative designated safeguarding lead
Requirements
  • Be deeply committed to ensuring all children are fully supported to achieve their best
  • Experience in working with children, particularly those with social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Strong communication skills to form positive relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Able to actively seek opportunities to improve practice and stay updated with the latest educational trends and strategies
