Project Manager (Capital Projects) Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at WorkwithYork. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering projects within our client's Building Services Planned and Cyclical Investment Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including contractors, surveyors, architects, and structural engineers, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including procurement, site supervision, and budget management.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and other relevant building standards.
  • Provide technical design knowledge and expertise in building repair, renovation, and modernisation works.

Requirements:

  • HNC in Building Studies or related subject (NQF level 5) or relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Contract Administration / Forms of Contract etc.
  • Experience and knowledge of CDM regulations.
  • Ideal candidate will have a good understanding of asset management within social housing.
