Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

As a Cleaning Supervisor with Sodexo at Cambridge, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for supervising a team of cleaners and ensuring exceptional service quality across corporate building areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise the cleaning team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Client Satisfaction: Create a welcoming atmosphere for clients, colleagues, and team members by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Training and Development: Train new employees on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Evaluate maintenance or repair needs as required and manage cleaning supplies to maintain high standards.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Ensure team safety by controlling safety, sanitation, and training procedures to prevent accidents and promote a healthy working environment.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Prior leadership experience is beneficial, but a strong cleaning background and enthusiasm for growth is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Able to lead by example and communicate effectively with the team to ensure clear understanding of expectations and goals.
  • Adaptability: Proactive attitude, willing to adapt to changing priorities and support the team as needed.
