Key Responsibilities:- Support the commercial team on projects aimed at maximising company profits and developing sales strategies.
- Work closely with employees in other functions, such as the sales team, product managers, and science teams, as well as external stakeholders like creative agencies and content creators.
- Manage the creation of and create content, including case studies, videos, application notes, articles, website copy, blog posts, and marketing literature.
- Contribute to our website SEO approach with other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of planned content.
- Plan, implement, execute, and analyse customer-focused marketing campaigns from start to finish.
- Communicate the vision and value of current and new products to the market and develop sales and marketing tools.
- Take ownership of the overall customer journey, considering tactics and content required at each stage.
- Support Marketing Operations with the initiation, organisation, and execution of events, exhibitions, webinars, conferences, and seminars.
- Obtain insights into customers' usage of current products, untapped opportunities, and buyer personas through interviews, surveys, focus groups, and sales data.
- Employ marketing research and analytical techniques to gather important competitor intel and market insight.
- Masters or PhD in Biology/Molecular Biology or a related field of study or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience of marketing in the Life Sciences industry, particularly in the tools and reagents areas.
- Meticulous eye to detail, with the ability to enforce and evolve company language and lexicon.
- Significant experience of creating content, writing scientific copy, and managing external/internal content creators in lifesciences, particularly with complex scientific products.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, particularly for communicating scientific information, applications, and articles of interest accurately and appropriately to different target customer segments.
- Proven experience of planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns with a range of tactics and content types.
- Ability to travel throughout Europe and internationally as required.
