Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at an elite private mental health hospital in the UK.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients and residents, working collaboratively with staff across the services, and communicating effectively with carers and family members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and develop effective therapeutic relationships with patients and residents
  • Work collaboratively with staff across the services to provide comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with carers and family members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide accurate and concise reports in a timely manner
  • Attend multidisciplinary team (MDT) and care program approach (CPA) meetings
  • Provide a consultative role to professionals from other units, the Care Quality Commission, and the Second Opinion Appointed Doctor (SOAD)
  • Adhere to HCPC and RCOT standards of practice
  • Take into account the individuality of views, wishes, and beliefs of patients/residents and their carers/families
  • Promote respect for diversity and combat stigma and exclusion at every opportunity
  • Demonstrate good reflective skills
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures regarding confidentiality and appropriate reporting
Requirements:
  • Living and working in the UK at present
  • Annual Base Salary up to £40,000.00
