About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Community Development Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Community Engagement team, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of local residents by working in partnership with local communities to address long-standing social-economic and health challenges.

As a Senior Community Development Officer, you will be responsible for building relationships with local stakeholders, including health, education, and policing, to engage in the design and development of community projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring that everyone's voice is heard and that the local community is kept informed on progress.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of local residents. If you are passionate about community development and have a track-record in a community-facing role, we would love to hear from you.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is an exceptional communicator, capable of relaying information to a wide variety of audiences. You will also have experience of managing and monitoring projects, as well as coordinating events and community feedback. A passion for tackling everyday inequalities and supporting communities is essential.
