Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Multi-Skilled Plant Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Plant Technician to join our team at Swift Temps Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a critical role in repairing and maintaining company assets, including reactive and preventative maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

* Repair of company assets
* Engineering consultancy in improvement of planned maintenance checks and frequency
* Repair and maintain all plant and equipment in a safe manner
* Work within all safety policies and procedures
* Ensure all plant and equipment is in a safe and acceptable condition
* Identify and specify spare part requirements for machine repair
* Compliance with company quality instruction
* Comply with company business processes
* Work in conjunction with production in order to minimise plant downtime
* Ensure all Maintenance documents are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements:

* Experience of working in a Maintenance Department within a manufacturing environment is essential
* Good interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and achieve business objectives
* Clear, concise and appropriate communication style, both written and verbal
* Able to work flexibly and meet deadlines
* Must have knowledge of machine control systems and / or mechanical workings
* Able to identify faults on large engineering plant and work on machine installation.

Location:

This position is based near Redditch and is easily commutable from surrounding areas.
