Field Service Technician / Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at a successful medical engineering and manufacturing business based in Aston Clinton / Aylesbury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform field service and repair of medical equipment at hospitals and other client sites around the UK.
  • Work from a fully equipped, modern, state-of-the-art van and maintain accurate documentation of all work completed.
  • Collaborate with the office team to assemble, test, and repair equipment as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Travel extensively throughout the UK, with occasional overnight stays.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in field-based engineering roles working on technical equipment at hospitals or similar environments.
  • Strong test and repair skills, with attention to detail and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to work and stay away from home for approximately 2/3 days per week, with occasional longer periods if required.
