Advanced Clinical Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team as an Emergency Surgical Nurse Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing our team of Emergency Surgical Nurse Practitioners and our acute Same Day Emergency Care Service.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the clinical utilization and synthesis of Advanced skills across the 4 pillars of practice, enabling safe, independent, clinical decision-making. This will include being an active non-medical prescriber and holding a Masters (or equivalent) in Advanced Clinical Practice.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience as an autonomous practitioner in an acute setting in a hospital environment, with a strong background in leading change within a clinical environment. They will also have a teaching qualification (DipHE/998) and management or leadership qualification. Additionally, they will have a critical portfolio of practice demonstrating enthusiasm for learning and ongoing professional development.
