About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Practice Trainer to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a Clinical Practice Trainer - Simulation Focus, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a simulation service into our teaching facility for medical undergraduates, post graduates, nursing staff, and allied health professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver simulation-based training within the curriculum requirements for medical undergraduates and national guidelines for post graduate trainees.
- Create simulation scenarios and deliver MDT Teaching sessions for all grades listed above.
- Have extended post registration experience as a registered healthcare professional and be up to date in clinical skills.
- Have a Degree in Nursing, Midwifery, or another health-related subject and be able to provide evidence of continuing professional development.
- Have experience of teaching clinical skills.
Requirements
- Extended post registration experience as a registered healthcare professional.
- Up-to-date clinical skills.
- Degree in Nursing, Midwifery, or another health-related subject.
- Experience of teaching clinical skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the islands and to the mainland for meetings.
- Driving license.
