About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Stroke and Neuro Therapy Team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist occupational therapy services across the stroke and neuro pathway, including in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation.
  • Work as part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team to deliver client-centered rehabilitation services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs for patients with complex needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
Requirements
  • Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with the Health Professions Council.
  • A minimum of 12-18 months experience in stroke and neurology.
  • Experience in team/service development and supporting junior therapists.
  • Specialist knowledge in occupational therapy practices and current legislation.
