About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Ashton Medical Group in Ashton-under-Lyne. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the administration and receptionist teams with patient registration, booking appointments, and processing information in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
  • File and store records as required, maintaining accurate and up-to-date filing systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering incoming phone calls and dealing with caller's requests appropriately.
  • Liaise with external agencies such as hospitals and community services, ensuring referrals are processed efficiently.
  • Manage all administrative queries effectively.
  • Process medical records requests as per GDPR guidelines.
  • Maintain an accurate referrals database.
  • Carry out system searches as requested.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Strong IT skills, competent in the use of Office and Outlook.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member and autonomously.
  • EMIS Web user skills.
  • Docman user skills.
  • ERS user skills.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
