Oxford Knight is seeking an experienced C++ Developer to join our newly formed Low Latency Trading group in our Mayfair office. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and build efficient code for various components of our production trading and research system.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled C++ Developer with a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking to contribute to our cutting-edge quantitative finance team. You will work closely with our researchers, developers, and traders to achieve business-critical goals and drive innovation in the field of low latency trading.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance C++ code for our production trading and research system
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement technical solutions to complex problems
  • Develop and maintain our proprietary research platform, focused on exploring market inefficiencies
  • Work closely with our traders and researchers to design and implement efficient trading strategies
Requirements
  • Minimum 4+ years of strong C++ programming skills, with experience in low-latency trading environments
  • Modern C++ knowledge (C++17/20), including template meta-programming
  • Deep-level knowledge of network programming and distributed computing
  • Solid experience of Unix/Linux fundamentals
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
