Job Title: Head of Commercial Management

At Allianz Popular SL, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Commercial Management. This position is a key part of our team, responsible for delivering a high-performing central tax function for the Allianz UK Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and coordinate the Allianz UK Group's tax affairs, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
  2. Provide tax expertise and advice to the business, ensuring that tax liabilities are met within statutory deadlines.
  3. Implement and maintain best practices in tax risk management, ensuring the company's tax position is optimized.
  4. Advise on tax matters, considering the implementation of tax planning initiatives to mitigate tax exposures.
  5. Maintain awareness of changes in tax law and practice, ensuring the company is compliant with all relevant regulations.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, advisors, and tax authorities.
  7. Manage and develop other members of the tax team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in tax management and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex tax issues.
  • Self-motivated with excellent project and time management skills.
  • IT literate, with excellent Word and Excel skills.
