Tailored Solutions Design and Application Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Tailored Solutions Design and Application Engineer to join our dynamic Project Support Centre Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in finalizing electro-mechanical designs for non-standard Tailored Solutions projects, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and applications, with experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders. You will be responsible for providing technical support to Project Sales Managers and Tendering Engineers, developing and maintaining technical documentation, and supporting production teams during manufacturing and assembly processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Finalize electro-mechanical designs for non-standard projects, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Provide technical support to Project Sales Managers and Tendering Engineers for tailored solutions projects.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematic design, wiring diagrams, and BOM.
  • Support production teams during manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Standardize designs for internal use and collaborate with Tendering Engineers for accurate customer orders.

Your Profile:

  • Design and Applications experience in an electrical environment.
  • General knowledge about manufacturing processes.
  • Good working knowledge on applicable standards including IEC 61439 and IEC 62208.
  • 3D knowledge would be advantageous, but training will be given for our software used.
  • Experienced in collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Desire for personal learning & development.
  • Passionate about providing a great Customer Experience.
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a great team player.
  • Great communication skills.
