Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Specialist to join our team as a Commercial Director. This role will involve leading the commercial function on high-profile infrastructure projects, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver value-added cost management services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, with experience working on major infrastructure projects, preferably in the rail, air, power, or highways sectors. They will also have excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial function on infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery of value-added cost management services to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain expertise in NEC3 contracts, particularly Option C – Target Cost, and apply this knowledge to drive cost savings and efficiency on projects.
  • Manage post-contract administration, ensuring seamless transition from contract award to project completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MRICS qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working on major infrastructure projects, preferably in the rail, air, power, or highways sectors.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
