About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen systems and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to achieve business objectives and targets

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of kitchen systems and procedures
  • Ability to train and develop junior staff members
