Job Overview:

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting in-patient and out-patient services in the Emergency Division at Warwick Hospital, providing senior support and guidance to the junior medical team. The role also involves participating in research, education, audit, and continuing professional development, as well as contributing to clinical governance and general service activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide senior support and guidance to the junior medical team
  • To participate in research, education, audit, and continuing professional development
  • To contribute to clinical governance and general service activities
  • To work flexibly and cross-cover for colleagues when needed

Requirements:

  • Broad interest and experience in General Medicine and Care of the Elderly
  • Expressed interest in undergraduate and postgraduate education
  • Valid ALS certificate
  • Undergraduate medical degree

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £54,000 - £86,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including study leave, mentoring, and training opportunities. The appointment will be full-time and based at Warwick Hospital, with the opportunity to work in various medical specialties within the trust.
