Psychological Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Trust. As a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, you will provide specialist psychological services to adults across all sectors of care, providing psychological assessment and therapy. You will also utilise research skills for adult, policy, and service development and research within areas serviced by the team.
This role requires travel between community locations, so you must be comfortable with driving for work purposes and able to travel freely within the hours of the role. Applicants must have a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work.
The ideal candidate will have doctoral-level training in clinical psychology, including specifically models of psychopathology and psychometrics, two or more distinct psychological therapies, and lifespan developmental psychology as accredited by the BPS. They will also need to be registered with the HCPC as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist and have experience working as a qualified clinical psychologist within an Adult Mental Health Service. Additional desirable qualifications include high-level knowledge of the theory and practice of at least two specialised psychological therapies and experience of supervision of junior and/or trainee psychologists.
In return, we offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as excellent opportunities for career progression, access to tailored individual and trust-wide learning and development, 27 days annual leave rising to 33 days with continuous service, and a comprehensive pension scheme.
