About the RoleOur HPC Professional Services team is seeking a Building Performance Consultant to join its Global team. As a key member, you'll work closely with our sales and critical engineering teams to design and implement complex power and cooling solutions for air and water-cooled IT systems.
Responsibilities- Decipher complex RFP requirements related to facility power and cooling infrastructure and collaborate with IT architects to design an IT solution that fits within those limitations.
- Architect complex power and cooling solutions for air and water-cooled IT systems, ensuring alignment with Lenovo's global standards.
- Collaborate with sales and critical engineering subject matter experts to determine the solution scope and projected costs.
- Continue partnerships with internal or external customers to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
- Be actively involved in the physical installation of complex IT systems that are air or water-cooled.
- Provide engineering guidance over a wide range of disciplines, including power/electrical, mechanical, thermal, plumbing, and controls.
- Effectively project manage vendors contracted to provide separate pieces of the solution.
- Experience working in technology disciplines such as power/electrical or mechanical/thermal engineering.
- Understanding of data center and IT solution power delivery architectures.
- Understanding of data center and IT solution cooling architectures and heat transfer.
- Develop training and knowledge base documentation for technical skills throughout your career.

You will report to the Solutions & Services Group (SSG) organization structure. SSG focuses on expanding IT service markets, especially digital workplace services, and customers' preference for sustainability services.
