English Teacher Required

We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our team at an outstanding secondary school in Preston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English and a passion for inspiring students to excel in this subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English to students at KS3 and KS4 level, up to GCSE
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods

Requirements:

  • Previous experience teaching English required
  • Desirable: experience as a SENDco or knowledge of SEND
  • Good behaviour and classroom management skills
