Cleaning and Mastic Operative

Main Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain bathroom and modular pods to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Handle and apply relevant chemicals and materials in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Identify and report defects, issues, and faults to Quality Technicians for prompt resolution.
  • Apply silicone to seams within pods to ensure effective sealing and durability.
  • Operate various tools, including manual and powered mastic guns, mastic pens, spatulas, and hoovers, to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Work at heights using steps and A-frame ladders to access pods and perform tasks.
  • Report quality and design problems to the Production Supervisor for review and action.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Elements Europe Risk Assessment, and Procedures.
  • Adhere to Elements Europe drawings and specifications for all works performed.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the work area.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure all works meet Elements Europe quality systems and standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to take direction and ask questions when unsure.
  • Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning materials and their applications.
  • Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe handling practices.
  • Previous experience using silicon or snagging in a similar role.
  • Working at Height training certificate (preferred but not essential).
