Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Team Member at our SPAR store in Newport, Pembrokeshire. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment, and supporting the sales team in achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, ensuring that customers are informed about our products and services.
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales targets by promoting products, managing stock levels, and maintaining a visually appealing store display.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve store objectives, including maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a till.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential.
