Teaching Opportunity in Rhondda

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join a secondary school in the Rhondda area. This full-time position involves teaching Year 7, 8, and 9, as well as GCSE and A-Level classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a classroom of learners in Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Sixth Form
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons and plan schemes of work where required
  • Deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Engage learners with both classroom and lab-based activities
  • Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies
Requirements
  • At least 1 year Maths teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - Vetro can assist with this
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
Estimated Salary: £34,520 - £43,359 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)
