About the Role

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a skilled Project Planner to join their team in Hampshire. As a key member of the infrastructure scheme, you will be responsible for effective portfolio planning and programming of civil projects using P6 (Primavera 6).

You will report directly to the Planning Manager and collaborate with the board of the project to implement planning procedures in accordance with programme strategy and client governance.

Your ability to liaise with the site team and understand TQs and realistic delays to projects will be essential in keeping the programme as accurate as possible.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the scheme without delays.
  • Review progress, forward plan, and lookahead programmes to ensure alignment with overall project objectives and timelines.
  • Identify risks and provide expert planning support and guidance on NEC contract requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
  • A degree or certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • A UK driving license.
  • Expert knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes.
  • Experience of Earned Value Management desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working on civil engineering projects.
