About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Reinsurance Specialist to administer MINT's ceded reinsurance programmes, post placement, maximising the reinsurance asset while maintaining accurate records.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in the insurance industry, particularly in reinsurance.

You will be responsible for creating reinsurance risks using our systems, ensuring policy terms are accurately recorded and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure reinsurance premium and related expenses are correctly booked, advised, and settled under Contractual Terms.
  • Develop strong relationships with team members across the business as well as externally to expedite receipt of reinsurance funds.
  • Support Actuarial and Finance teams in all aspects of financial reporting. Provide insightful MI and data analytics.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry and demonstrable knowledge of insurance and reinsurance.
  • A basic understanding of accounting principles and practices would be beneficial.
  • Delivery-oriented, motivated to succeed, and energized to intentionally drive their own personal development.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills at all business levels, including interaction with external business parties.
  • Possess strong numerical and analytical skills, with examples of how these have been optimally utilised.

Salary & Benefits:

  • A competitive salary range of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
