About the Role
The YMCA Swim Instructor is responsible for teaching swim lessons to children and adults of all ages and skill levels. This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. If you are passionate about swimming and enjoy working with people, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
* Teach swim lessons to children and adults of all ages and skill levels
* Ensure the safety of all swimmers during lessons and enforce pool rules
* Promote participation in the Y Swimming Lessons program
* Assist the Swim Director or other assigned associate with administrative tasks

Requirements
* Previous teaching experience preferred
* Current CPR/AED/O2/First Aid certification (or O2 within 30 days of hire)
* Preferred Lifeguard certification
* Successful completion and passing of the Y in Central Maryland swim test
* Flexible Schedule, days, nights and weekends
