About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Accounting and Financial Operations to join our team at Primer. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our business and handling complex financial challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Lead the Accounting Function: Establish a scalable and efficient accounting process, including designing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, developing internal controls, and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage financial plans, forecasts, and budgets, and provide regular financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Financial Systems and Processes: Implement and manage financial systems, including Netsuite, and develop and improve financial processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of Commercial and Managerial Experience: Proven experience in a senior accounting role, with a strong track record of financial management and leadership.
  • Big 4 Exposure and Qualifications: Experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm, with qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
  • Financial Management and Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage financial teams, with experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Financial Systems and Processes: Experience with financial systems, including Netsuite, and a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
