Regional Power Equipment Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Regional Power Equipment Engineer to join our team in North East England.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified engineer to play a key role in the success of our region by ensuring our customers can hire what they want, when they need it through efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of power services & equipment within our fleet.
The successful candidate will be responsible for traveling across our regional depots and customer sites to identify and repair any faults or damage to equipment including Stage V generators, AMF/MDU and Distribution & Cable, whilst accurately updating service records.
About the Job:
This is a full-time position based in North East England, covering a wide area. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair generator equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct site visits to identify and address any issues with our equipment
- Work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 25 days annual leave, contributory pension scheme, life assurance, and cycle to work scheme.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in generator maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of Stage V engines and generators
- Valid driving license
