Mirus Aircraft Seating Ltd is a leading aircraft seating OEM seeking a skilled Test Technician to support our engineers and senior technicians in executing dynamic, static, and life cycle tests for both internal and external customers.

• Complete Static, Dynamic, and Life Cycle test setups in accordance with test procedures and customer requirements.
• Support dynamic development and certification testing in accordance with customer test procedures and international regulations.
• Set up high-speed cameras for test filming to customer requirements.
• Set up computer-controlled data acquisition systems.
• Manufacture and maintain test fixtures and equipment as necessary.
• Carry out development and certification static tests to customer and regulatory requirements.
• Be responsible for maintenance of static test/life cycle area and equipment.
• Review existing risk assessments for the dynamic test facility and highlight any changes.
• Support dynamic sled maintenance in line with engineer instructions.
• Be responsible for maintaining a high level of housekeeping and creating a safe working environment.

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering apprenticeship.
• Previous Mechanical or Electrical technician/engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical fitting skills.
• Electrical/electronic skills.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• HNC/HND in Engineering.
• Experienced in a testing environment.
• Photographic experience.
• Data collection experience.
• Knowledge of photography, high-speed data, and video capture.

• IT literate.
• Ability to follow written procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to learn.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• High level of confidentiality and integrity.
