About the RoleMirus Aircraft Seating Ltd is a leading aircraft seating OEM seeking a skilled Test Technician to support our engineers and senior technicians in executing dynamic, static, and life cycle tests for both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Complete Static, Dynamic, and Life Cycle test setups in accordance with test procedures and customer requirements.
- Support dynamic development and certification testing in accordance with customer test procedures and international regulations.
- Set up high-speed cameras for test filming to customer requirements.
- Set up computer-controlled data acquisition systems.
- Manufacture and maintain test fixtures and equipment as necessary.
- Carry out development and certification static tests to customer and regulatory requirements.
- Be responsible for maintenance of static test/life cycle area and equipment.
- Review existing risk assessments for the dynamic test facility and highlight any changes.
- Support dynamic sled maintenance in line with engineer instructions.
- Be responsible for maintaining a high level of housekeeping and creating a safe working environment.

- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering apprenticeship.
- Previous Mechanical or Electrical technician/engineering experience.
- Strong mechanical fitting skills.
- Electrical/electronic skills.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- HNC/HND in Engineering.
- Experienced in a testing environment.
- Photographic experience.
- Data collection experience.
- Knowledge of photography, high-speed data, and video capture.
- IT literate.
- Ability to follow written procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Willingness to learn.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- High level of confidentiality and integrity.
