Job Description

The Geoscience team at RSK is seeking a skilled Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for participating in various geo-environmental projects, assisting with ground investigations and desk studies, and providing geotechnical reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site investigations and desk studies to identify geo-environmental risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement geo-environmental solutions
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality reports and presentations to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of contaminated land legislation and reporting requirements
  • Travel to other offices and sites within the UK as needed
Requirements:
  • BSc or equivalent in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • MSc desirable but not essential
  • Working towards membership of a relevant professional body with a longer-term goal to move toward chartership
  • Basic knowledge of planning legislation
  • Experience of site inspections and reporting, preferably on residential developments
  • Able to complete factual and interpretative assessments to a basic level
  • Able to deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy
  • Track record in managing time and resources effectively and within budget
  • In possession of a full UK driving license
