Lead Activities Co-ordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our activities team at Karuna Manor Care Home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and delivering engaging activities and lifestyle opportunities that enhance the lives of our residents.

About the Role

As Lead Activities Co-ordinator, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. You will work closely with our team to create a stimulating environment that promotes lifestyle choices, happiness, development, and fun.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to plan, design, and deliver engaging activities and lifestyle opportunities
  • Work closely with residents, relatives, and team members to understand their needs and preferences
  • Develop and implement person-centred activities that promote well-being and happiness
  • Support the Leadership Team in achieving our goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home setting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
