Senior Software Engineer

Troi Search is partnering with a leading automotive brand to find a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join their Engineering team in Bromley, South of London.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of applications, leveraging your expertise in Net/C# development, real-time environments, and high-frequency data processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on bug fixing, development, and testing across the entire environment
  • Ensuring code quality through commenting, unit testing, and documentation
  • Developing and supporting distributed event-based architectures using message buses and event streams
  • Consuming and processing high-frequency data in real-time or near-real-time environments
  • Experience with cloud services, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL databases, and application metrics and monitoring
  • Fluent working knowledge of Linq and associated functional programming practices in the C# environment
  • Experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, E2E, and regression tests and test suites
Requirements:
  • 5 years of Full Stack experience with.Net based development using C#
  • At least 2 years of experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • At least 2 years of working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as Mongo or DocumentDB
  • Fluent working knowledge of Linq and associated functional programming practices in the C# environment
  • Experience working with application metrics and monitoring with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Cloudwatch
  • Understanding of AGILE development philosophies
  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline

Please note that this is a full-time position, with a requirement to be in the office in Bromley ideally 3 days a week and to travel to global destinations for 10 days at a time to provide in-person technical support, approximately 4 times a year.
