Nursery Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Manager to join our team at JEM Childcare Solutions. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our 40-place term-time only nursery, based on 36 hours a week, 39 weeks a year, with a salary of approximately £25,000 plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the daily running of the nursery, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.
• Lead and support a team of staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children and align with the latest EYFS framework and regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve high-quality care and education, adhering to Ofsted standards and requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
• At least 3 years of experience working in a day nursery.
• At least 2 years of experience leading and supporting teams.
• Ability to inspire, energize, and support others.
• Genuine passion and excitement to work with children and helping others learn.
• Sound knowledge of the latest EYFS framework and regulations.
• Firm knowledge of Ofsted standards and requirements.
