About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our team at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to expectant mothers and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of women, partners, families, and carers, and develop personalized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based midwifery care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, to ensure the best possible outcomes for mothers and babies.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to women and their families.
  • Identify high-risk pregnancies and develop strategies to mitigate risks and promote healthy outcomes.

Requirements
