We are seeking an experienced Telecoms Engineer to join our well-established client's team in Dorset. As a senior-level technical support specialist, you will be responsible for providing remote helpdesk support, contributing to design solutions, planning/managing installation projects, and occasional site visits.

The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, administration, and time management skills, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will be part of a dynamic team that delivers high-quality support services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing technology solutions, managing installation projects, and performing site visits as needed.
  • Collaborating with customers and the team to deliver high-quality support services.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Understanding around technology/telecoms.
  • Microsoft 365 implementation and support.
  • Microsoft Windows/Mac Server and Desktop Support.
  • Group Policy and Active Directory Administration, new User setup, SharePoint development, and Azure files.
  • Microsoft Security Setup including Defender, Patching, Anti-Phishing/Anti-Spam/Anti-Virus etc.
  • Remote Backup and firewall Procedures.
  • Network Infrastructure covering: Broadband, Leased Lines, LANs & VLANs, DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, Ethernet, Wireless routers/firewall.
  • Knowledge of Hyper-V and VMWare.
  • Veeam Backup.
  • Ability to work under pressure to SLA's and work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Team player.
  • Highly organized.
  • Proactive in your approach.
  • Ability to multi-task.
Benefits
  • Estimated salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Free parking, pension, 23 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years.
