Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Project Superintendent to oversee Tenant Improvement projects and new development projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to work with local municipalities, and experience in managing construction processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the construction process, identifying and solving problems that arise
  • Maintain positive relationships with tenants, contractors, suppliers, and employees
  • Work with local municipalities to ensure proper permitting and inspections
  • Establish and maintain project schedules, including start, progress, and completion schedules
  • Hold subcontractors accountable for their performance
  • Review and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
  • Ensure completion of all final punch lists and projects are completed before final payment and/or occupancy
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to speak in public
  • Ability to review and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
  • Experience in construction management or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
